It's Wednesday, but feels like a Monday because I wasn't at work yesterday. Instead I went with my mom as she was "arrested" for MDA. And yes, I suckered her into it. :)
I was really happy for a day off, even though it meant I wasn't paid. What can you do. But I got a few things done around the house, which made me happy.
OH, and I just wrestled with Verizon. Sorta. Turns out I need to talk to billing to determine why on earth I'm getting a collection notice for a $95 charge from Verizon. So, I call and talk to everyone but billing, and when they finally transfer me to billing, turns out that the office closes at 6pm. Are you SERIOUS!?! I was transferred twice before I ended up talking to Sonya, who it was only determined about 3/4 of the way through the conversation, was not actually in billing but in customer service. Then at 5:58, she says, "I better transfer you to billing because they close at 6pm". And I have YET to speak to a supervisor because you apparently need an act of Congress to get through to them. And we all know how affective THAT is.
But really, I'm in a fairly good mood. They helped me out with 2 of the 3 things I needed. Oh, technically four. I hate Verizon. I really do. But at least I'm not seeing as much red as I was before. Joy.
